Warranty and returns


The guarantee period for goods is 3 years from the date of delivery of the goods. If a hidden defect is discovered during the guarantee period, INTERIA company is obliged to eliminate the defects within a period of 2 months. The guarantee does not apply to damaged furniture with signs of misuse and does not apply to fabric or artificial leather.

If the product has a defect or malfunction, you must notify our after-sales service department by e-mail at HELLO@INTERIA.STORE, quoting the order number and description of the malfunction, and attaching photos showing the condition of the product. The claim is considered within two business days. After the claim review, an INTERIA representative will contact you to let you know if this is a guaranteed case or not.

The guarantee for technical maintenance and furniture repair does not cover the following cases:

  • furniture was damaged due to improper storage and  / or careless transportation by the customer;
  • violation of the environment temperature range: from +16ºC to +28ºC;
  • violation of acceptable humidity range: 45-70%;
  • mechanical damage;
  • thermal damage caused due to the influence of household appliances and other heat sources;
  • exposure to direct sunlight;
  • ingress of acids, alcohol, alkali, acetone, gasoline, and other chemicals;
  • during repair, disassembly, and other improper interventions by the customer or other persons not authorized by the manufacturer;
  • damage caused by animals;
  • cuts and scratches;
  • improper usage;
  • damage caused by force majeure (fire, natural disaster).

Return conditions

You can return the products of standard configuration and size (not customized) within 14 days from the date of delivery. The product must be without signs of use and include all components of the original set and undamaged packaging. Items that can be returned:

  • Sofas
  • Beds
  • Coffee tables
  • Paintings
  • Matrasses

In order to return your product, you must have your receipt and valid ID.

You can return the products to the address specified by INTERIA representative.

Or, if you prefer, we can collect the items. In this case you will need to pay the shipping costs.

Refunds will be made to your bank account withing 5 business days.

If your order arrived damaged, we will exchange it withing 2-3 business days if it is in stock, otherwise, the terms of exchange are discussed individually.

Relationships and disputes are considered in accordance with the procedure established by the current legislation of Portugal. You can obtain more information about your rights from the competent authorities using the following link www.consumidor.pt. Nevertheless, each specific case will be considered in accordance with the current legislation and the interests of the customer.
