We really needed a deep sofa, but with legs, so that it would be “light” and not take up space optically. And that could be reduced in depth if we were tired of lying down and just wanted to sit instead.
This is more or less what we asked the architect Victoria Shklyar from FORM Bureau to design. Victoria developed and provided us with a sketch of the Base sofa, which you can already see in the photo. The sofa is deep (125 cm) and has high supports. Thanks to the movable backrests, you can change the depth of the seat, and since the backrests are also movable, you can remove them from the sofa. In general, as always, you can order the sofa in the size you want.
